Baby and I went to Carlton Hotel last weekend ...

to celebrate our 1 year anniversary ... =)


Never did we realise that up to today, we had stayed in three hotels in total ...

and all their names start with a C

1st - Conrad Hotel

2nd - Changi Hotel

3rd - Carlton Hotel


what is next?!

Rainy season

A little girl walked to and from school daily.

The weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to the elementary school. As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with thunder and lightning.

The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school and she herself feared that the electrical storm might harm her child. Following each roar of thunder, lightning, like a flaming sword, would cut through the sky.
Full of concern, the mother quickly got into her car and drove along the route to her child's school.

As she did so, she saw her little girl walking along, but at each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up and smile.

Another and another were to follow quickly and with each the little girl would look at the streak of light and smile. When the mother's car drew up beside the child she lowered the window and called to her,"What are you doing? Why do you keep stopping?"

The child answered, "I am trying to look pretty. God keeps taking my picture."


Honestly, I don't like rainy day ... Why?!

It is because I need to take an umbrella if it is raining dog and cat ...

I am a lazy person ... I rather run across to a sheltered place than open an umbrella ...


I will also fall sick easily during rainy season ...

Sometimes, it will rain for a while and will shine for another ...

making the weather unbearable ... especially for me ... who is not so physically fit ...


But think about it ...

without rain ... there will be no water for us to drink ... no moisture for our skin ...

no water for the trees ... trees will die and there is no oxygen for us ...

... ...

so I guess rainy days are somewhat good for us ...

perhaps I just take it as an excuse that these are the days where we can laze around at home ...

or if not, it could be God who wants to take beautiful pictures of me ... haha

Why blog?

Most people feel that blogging is a waste of time ...

and only people with plenty of free time will blog ...

but is it so?!


To me, blogging is one way which I can record down the things happened in my life ...

some folks ...

some places ...

some dates ...

some events ...

which I don't wish to forget ...

not a secret but a movie ...

a movie by Jay Chou ...

his directorial debut SECRET ...

An original story by Chou, deals with the memory of first love through high school lovers Lun (Jay Chou) and Yu (Guey Lun-Mei).

Music is a key element in the movie in which Chou composed and sang the movie theme song also titled SECRET.

I must admit that I am not a BIG fan of Jay Chou ...

or someone who hates him ...

but this is one movie I simply love it ...

touching and loving ...

especially the ending ...


he gave up everything for her ...

his dad ... his life ... his future ...

not knowing what would happen ...

this was true L O V E ...

Right or left?

2 weekends ago ...

I told Baby to wait for me at home and I would pack dinner back ...

never did I know my church meeting would end so late ... around 7 plus ...

I quickly grabbed some food for two and hired a cab home ...

tired and hungry ... hoping to go home as soon as possible ...


when about to reach, I told the driver to turn right into the car park ...

but he didn't turn as he was told ... he still asked me whether to turn right or turn left?

I thought I didn't speak out loud enough ... so I repeated ...

at this point of time, he had missed the turning point ...
he was angry and kept insisting that I told him to turn left in the first place ...

this made me mad ... I told him NO, it was right ...

I had enough of him ... I told him to pull off at the side after he made a left turn ...

I paid him the fare and I read out his vehicle number (so to memorise it) ...

thereafter, I dropped off without getting the change ...


You guess what this rude uncle said ...

"Go lor ... go complain lor ..."

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh ...

I was so pissed off that I slammed the door ...


what type of service was I getting then? ...

I told Baby about it and we both agreed to complain to the cab company - TransCab ... cab with red body and white top ...


11 days have passed ... still no news from the cab company ...

I will wait ... and wait ... and wait

** conversation with the driver was in Mandarin throughout ...

Retribution ...

I really believe it ...

what you sow is what you reap ...

I better watch what I say ... what I think ... and what I do ...

It really comes true?!

I have a dream ...

it is to own a car at the age of 25 ...

I am 24 years old now ... so it is 1 year later ...

Will it come true?


Based on my current income, I can't afford to own a car ...

I guess I will have to get my driving licence before my 25th birthday to be my consolation ... (yes, I have not passed my driving test yet ... hehe hehehe ...)

by the way, my baby drives one ...

so will my dream come true in the end? ...

time to go ...

I think it is really time for me to plan ...

to look for better job opportunities ...

many changes in the company ... and more on their way ...

I am not sure whether these are warning signs sent by God ...

but I am hoping for a good job to come along in its time ... :)

Quite a few of my galfriends are celebrating their birthday this month ...

One of them is my Jie, Elsie ...


We celebrated her birthday last Sunday ... although it fell on the 9th ...

we went to Farmart that day ...


where ... It is at tengah ...

When you reach there ... you may have the feeling that you have reached Malaysia ...


although it is quite out of the norm, but there are still alot of people going there ...

perhaps the food there is delicious and cheap ... that's why it is always so packed ...

plus there is a chill out bar ... nice atmosphere ... and bottles of wine are sold at cost price ...

they only charge you $5 corking fee ... cheap right? =)


If you have not been there before, I suggest you should go visit one of these day ...

I am pretty sure you will love it ... and who knows, may become a regular there ... =D

my pastime ...

Last Friday, I went to meet my Charlie's Angels ... Rachel, Lee Ann and Mona ...

Yan Hong went overseas to further her studies ... wont be back till 1 year later ...

we had fun that night ... gossiping, bitching and laughing ...

everyone are still the same ... as pretty as before ... =)


As I was early that day, I walked around to past my time ...

walked here ... walked there ...

shopped here ... shopped there ...

I ended myself in Coffee Club ... haha ...

didn't know why I was there ...

but I just felt abit hungry ... abit thirsty ... and abit tired ...

so I went in ...

seated down ... enjoying my cake ... my drink ...

and also the view in front of me ... thought not many pretty people walked past me ... hehe ...


this is one of the things I like to do in the past ...

look at people and let people look at me ... hahaha ... hehehe ...


I don't have much time to do so now as I am attached ...

but I will surely do it again ... if I have the time ... =)
